STRATEGIC PLANNER
Responsible for analyzing various facilities and logistics using Microsoft Office tools, SharePoint, and Task Management Tool. Responsible for planning and oversight of Army facilities, energy, and environmental programs. Provides basic staff products, including Excel worksheets, information papers, and information presentations (PPTx). Responsible for calendar synchronization, integration of staff products, organization of strategic messaging, and operational integration.
1) Support day-to-day mission planning, review and analyze documentation for meetings, and review other forums for daily operations, which includes analysis of strategies, options, alternatives, and acquisition strategy efforts planned or in progress. Provide analytical results and/or recommendations, including preparation for meetings or other events. Prepare briefings, develop reports, and identify best practices for strategic planning.
2) Analyze the IMCOM strategy, goals, and objectives annually and recommend updates to the Vision, Mission, and Strategic Goals. Review and align IMCOM documentation with approved updates, e.g., response to inquiries, guidance, testimony, and correspondence.
3) Support IMCOM leadership in preparing for briefings to the National Command Authority, Department of the Army, Department of Defense, and international agencies.
3) Support Agency Federal Advisory Committee Act programs and implementation.
4) Receive, review, and process tasks assigned to the Office of IMCOM in the suspense tracking system, TMT. Delegate tasks to appropriate action officers and track to closure.
Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or business preferred.
